pi STRATEGY was invited to craft a strategy for this organization’s next 5-10 year journey as it sought to reaffirm its market dominance.
The engagement started with strategy session with top management, followed by 1-on-1 interviews with mid-level management. A primary research was conducted to understand the organization’s competitive market position as well as take stock of the shifting lifestyle priorities of the bulging youth population in the country. The engagement required addressing some very tough choices, such as letting go of some long-held advantages as it sought to establish new ones.
At the end of the engagement, a strategy document with 3 critical success factors were identified. Furthermore, a new and innovative retail format was also introduced to take advantage of growing consumer demands in tier-2 locations in the country.
Several new sub-brands and product lines have been successfully launched based on pi STRATEGY’s collaboration with the client.
