Like its peers at the global level, this MNO realized that its future revenues are going to originate less from voice services and increasing from data services.

The MNO invited pi STRATEGY to develop a differentiated strategy that could position the company to uncover new areas of future revenues.

pi STRATEGY conducted very detailed customer studies, market scans, and leading practices analyses from a global perspective to help identify a set of strategy options. The options were presented to members of a global investment committee within the MNO holding company.

The engagement led to the identification of an opportunity in the e-commerce market segment. pi STRATEGY also helped develop the operational strategy to materialise the opportunity: a $40 million investment over a 5-year horizon leading to a valuation of $225 million at the end of this period.
